Engjhana Ramgoolam

Engjhana holds the position of Finance Assistant at Lango Real Estate. Her core responsibility is to assist the Finance Manager and the Head Finance in the preparation of management accounts and annual financial statements for all Mauritian entities of the Group. 

Engjhana worked as a Freelancer at uDesign Ltd, further as a Sales Representative at Coucou Mam’zel, whereby she was responsible for the accounting and financial aspects of the business as well as the management of inventory. Prior to these, Engjhana was working as an Event Coordinator at L.V Entertainment, she presided over the preparation of budgetary expenditures, amongst others. She acquired significant and relevant experience while working at her previous job in the banking sector at the Head Office of Bank One.  

Engjhana is a young graduate from the University of Mauritius and holds a BA(Hons) Law with Management degree. She is currently studying for ACCA. 

Parineeta Pandoo

Parineeta is the Finance Manager at Lango Real Estate. She is responsible for the financial, treasury and regulatory reporting for Lango’s Mauritian subsidiary entities and entities in which Lango has an ultimate ownership stake.

Before joining Lango, Parineeta occupied the position of Finance Manager at Ascencia Ltd, the leading retail property company in Mauritius. Prior to that she held the position of Lead Internal Auditor at Rogers & Company Ltd, a listed conglomerate in Mauritius where she gained extensive knowledge of internal controls and risk management across the hospitality, fintech, logistics and property served markets in Mauritius and Africa. She gained extensive knowledge of the real estate industry in Mauritius during her tenure at both Rogers & Co Ltd and Ascencia Ltd.

In addition to holding a Bachelor of Science in Actuarial Science from the University of Mauritius, Parineeta is an Associate of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and a member of the Mauritius Institute of Professional Accountants.

Kevin Seebaluck

Kevin is the Head of Finance at Lango and his key focus is Lango’s Mauritian financial, treasury and regulatory reporting entities and subsidiaries in which Lango has an ultimate ownership stake. Kevin is also responsible for the running of the Mauritian office. Kevin has a post graduate Honours degree in Commerce cum laude from the University of Kwazulu-Natal, an MBA from Deakin University, Australia and is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA).

Kevin started his career in PwC in 1998 and moved to the UK in 2002. He held various positions before joining River and Mercantile as Director of Finance in 2008 and was pivotal in growing assets under management from GBP 4bn to GBP 21bn. Kevin played a leading role getting the company listed on the main market of the LSE in 2015. In 2016, Kevin moved back to Mauritius as Finance Director of E&S Group.

Before joining Lango, Kevin headed the finance team of the property side of the Rogers Hospitality Fund and Ascencia Limited, a property company focused on the retail sector domiciled and listed, which owns and manages in excess of 150,000m² of retail real estate in Mauritius.

Kirsty Kalamatas

Kirsty is the Financial Controller of the asset holding entities within the Lango Group and responsible for management and ensuring the accuracy of the financial accounting and reporting.
When joining the team in 2020 she was involved in investor reporting and investor relations. Kirsty also supported the Financial Director with the financial review and reporting for both the Mauritian and asset holding entities through Africa.
Prior to joining Lango, Kirsty worked at Growthpoint Properties, the largest South African primary REIT listed on the Johannesburg Stock Exchange. Here she was an accountant in the Finance Department and then went on to join Internal Audit where she gained invaluable knowledge of property systems and processes as well as the real estate sector at large. Before joining Growthpoint, Kirsty’s career in the property industry started as part of the finance team of a private property fund which was later acquired by Growthpoint.
Kirsty holds a BCOMPT, Financial Accounting from the University of South Africa, ACCA Strategic Professional Level and brings 10 years of experience in the real estate industry.

Refiloe Seoloane

Refiloe Seoloane ACA, CA(SA) is responsible for financial reporting, investor reporting and investor relations.

Refiloe has real estate investment management experience working as an investment analyst for Global and South African listed equity real estate strategies. Prior experience includes investment idea generation focused on listed financial services equity investments across Sub-Saharan Africa.

Refiloe joined Investec Bank in 2012 and completed her chartered accountant qualification within the Investec CA Programme. During the CA Programme, Refiloe gained broad financial management experience across a number of business units, including Private Capital (Private Debt and Private Equity), Group Legal (UK), Internal Audit (Risk and Governance) and Group Finance (Financial Reporting and Analysis). She joined Ninety One in 2014 (formerly Investec Asset Management).

Refiloe holds a Bachelor of Business Science (Finance Honours) degree from the University of Cape Town and a Bachelor of Commerce (Accounting Honours) degree from the University of Johannesburg. Refiloe is an Associate of The Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants.

George Petje

George is an Associate Principle of Investment at Lango. He is responsible for core property acquisitions and investments of the portfolio.

Before joining Lango, George gained broad real estate investment experience as an associate at Jones Lang LaSalle’s Sub-Saharan Africa Capital Markets team, with a focus in delivering client mandates in direct property investment sales, research and capital raising advisory. Prior to that he was an analyst at MacroSolutions (a division of Old Mutual Investment Group), where he was responsible for asset analysis, valuation, financial modelling, performance and risk analysis across multi-asset classes. He started his investment career in with Old Mutual Property where he took part in the Old Mutual Graduate Programme, before formally joining the Old Mutual Property’s asset management team.

George graduated from the University of the Witwatersrand with a BSc. Degree in Property studies (Honours) and has completed an MBA from Wits Business School.

Helen Mutshekwa

Helen is an Associate Principle, Lango Real Estate. She is responsible for property asset management function in the portfolio.

Prior to joining the team, Helen was an Asset Manager at the Public Investment Corporation for 7 years managing assets across various sectors focusing on identifying and implementing value adding opportunities with the portfolio under management.

Prior to that she worked at a listed REIT within the asset management team where she was responsible for analyzing the portfolio and market fundamentals, preparation and presentation of monthly performance reports and running with the property acquisition and disposal process.
Helen holds a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Property Studies from the University of Cape Town and completed a BCom degree in Financial Management.

George Adjei-Ampofo

George is responsible for the regional support of investments, asset management and finance within Lango’s West African portfolio. George has gained a lot of experience in Private Equity, Accounting, Auditing, Corporate Finance, Taxation and Management Consulting spanning over fifteen years.

Before joining the firm, George worked with Excellerate Property Services Ghana (CBRE Excellerate) as an Independent Contractor in the capacity of a Portfolio Manager. He worked for several years with Broll Ghana Limited, as the Portfolio Finance Manager, where he was in charge of Accra Mall, West Hills Mall, Achimota Mall and Kumasi City Mall’s finances. His role included budgeting, cash flow forecasting, managing relationships with regulatory authorities and financial institutions, management accounting and financial control. Having previously worked with Black Star Advisors (a Private Equity Firm), George is well versed with deal origination, due diligence, structuring and evaluation to investment monitoring and fund administration. He was an Audit Senior at Baker Tillly Andah & Andah, leading teams in forensic audits, assurance and internal audits and provided financial advisory services for firms in different industries.

George also consulted for the United States African Development Foundation (USADF) in setting up financial management systems and training for various SMEs across the country. This led to the release of funds by the USADF to various SMEs to support their businesses.

Eric Weirich

Eric graduated from the University of South Africa and is a member of the South African Institute of Chartered Accounts with over 10 years experience across Africa and the UK. Eric is the Finance Director of Lango with a key focus on the financing reporting and compliance, cash managements and tax optimisation and other back office activities. He is also focussed on building up robust back office processes and controls that will enable Lango to achieve its medium term listing ambitions. After having spent five years at PWC in South Africa and London, Eric spent a further eight years in London occupying various positions within the Finance function at Gazprom, one the leading global oil and gas players.

Eric subsequently held the role of Finance Director at Grit Real Estate Income Group, a listed pan-African real estate investment company, where he actively contributed to the listing of the group on the London Stock Exchange and ensuring first time compliance with new listing regulations and numerous reporting processes.

Before joining Lango as Finance Director, Eric was employed as the Chief Financial Officer of Ascencia Limited, a property company focused on the retail sector domiciled and listed in Mauritius, which owns and manages in excess of 200,000m² of retail real estate in Mauritius and other countries in Southern Africa.

Thomas Schultz

Thomas Schultz is an investment professional with 21 years’ experience, working exclusively in sub-Saharan Africa, across multiple fields, including private equity, asset management and commercial property.

Thomas is a Director at Lango, responsible for acquisitions and investments for the Company. Before joining Lango, Thomas was an Executive Director of the first listed pan-African real estate company (SACREIL). Prior to that, he was the Executive Head of Investment Management for Sanlam Emerging Markets, the asset management arm of the Sanlam Group in the rest of Africa. His previous roles within the Sanlam Group include: Head of Investments for Sanlam Investment Management Africa and Chief Operating Officer for Sanlam Investment Management Emerging Markets.

Thomas has broad investment and operational experience in a number of African countries, having started his career in private equity with Brait Merchant Bank and African Alliance. Thomas has a post graduate Honours degree in Economics from the University of the Witwatersrand and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA).
